These are the CBT mood management groups we have at Next Step Therapy. Groups will be closed and of fixed length. This means that no new members will join the group after the first session. They will last for 6 – 10 weeks and are self-contained. However, the purpose of the group is also to act as an introduction to other support and psychotherapy groups we have at The Next Step.
Groups will be based on the CBT material in Mood Management section but assignments will be done on a group basis. There will also be a mutual support aspect to the group where members will be encouraged to share their thoughts and feelings and also support each other.
